Welcome, I’m Ellie. I’m so glad you’re here.
Letters from A Quiet Life began as a way to document my journey into slow, sacred living – a life built not on hustle or noise, but on peace, presence, and purpose. I write weekly letters to women who long for still mornings, quiet faith, meaningful homemaking, and the kind of beauty you don’t have to shout to see.
We were never meant to rush through this life – we were meant to live it slowly, faithfully, and with great love.
I believe a quiet life isn’t boring or small – it’s powerful in its gentleness. It’s prayer whispered while folding laundry. It’s scripture by candlelight. It’s bread rising on the counter and your soul rising with it.
Currently I’m working on
A quieter kind of creative life – one candle, one letter, one moment at a time.
Right now, I’m pouring story-infused candles over at Everwood Lane, where every scent comes with a whispered fairytale written to bring warmth and wonder into your home.
I’m also writing weekly reflections here at Letters from A Quiet Life – sharing faith-based encouragement, homemaking rhythms, and simple living inspiration for women who are done with hustle and ready to live from a deeper place.
And quietly in the background… I’m dreaming up future offerings to help you create a life that feels like home – one rooted in stillness, scripture, and sacred simplicity.

“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life.”– 1 Thessalonians 4:11
My Favorite Things

02. Candlelight at Dusk
I light a candle almost every evening as a signal to slow down – for peace, prayer, and reflection.

04. Old Linens & Worn Wood
Give me faded napkins, cracked cutting boards, and tables with stories in their scratches.

06. A Well-Worn Bible
Scripture shapes my rhythms. it’s where my day begins and where my strength is restored.

01. Freshly Baked Bread
There’s nothing more grounding than kneading dough by hand and filling the home with the scent of freshly baked bread.
03. Seasonal Rhythms
Whether it’s bread in the oven or lavender in bloom, I try to live in sync with the world outside my window.

05. Letters & Journals
I keep notebooks in every corner of my home. Some hold prayers. Some hold grocery lists. All of them matter.

Before you go…
If you’ve made it this far, thank you, truly.
This little corner of the internet isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about peace. Stillness. Presence.
I hope you find something here that helps you slow down and breathe a little deeper — whether it’s a candle, a quiet letter, or a whisper from the Word.
There’s beauty in ordinary moments. And I believe your quiet life matters more than you know.
With gentle hope and a grateful heart,
